Audi E-Tron GT Recalled For Possible Leaky Air Suspension.

Audi is recalling ten E-Tron GTs in total to address a problem that only affects these specific models produced between September 14 and September 17. Since every single one of them was sold in the United States, neither Canada nor Europe are impacted by this recall. Owners of the impacted vehicles will start receiving notifications from the manufacturer, who will also see that the problem is addressed. According to Audi, the issue is caused by a retaining ring at the top of the air suspension strut that ultimately starts leaking air out of the airbag due to wear and tear.

What is the common issue of Audi E-Tron model ?

The airbag doesn’t explode or do anything of the such; instead, there is a steady release of air that will make the compressor work harder to maintain it inflated, so this doesn’t seem like anything that might represent a severe safety risk. Porsche recalled the Taycan twice this year, NHTSA announced that Porsche recalls 28 cars that might be impacted. Their construction dates vary from November 12th, 2021,to July 27th, 2021.

The Taycan, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo S, Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, and Taycan 4S Cross Turismo from the 2021 model year are all included in the impacted population.A loose threaded connection may allow a suspension component to travel beyond its intended position, which, if it does, might result in an abrupt loss of vehicle stability and control. Following three reports of vehicles with separate suspension trailing arms breaking off one of its mountings, the Taycan was recalled again in 2021. Another problem that might make it more likely that the automobile would be in an accident was this one, which could modify the steering wheel’s angle by up to 45 degrees.Audi had issued a recall for the E-Tron GT in August to address a software flaw that might result in drive failure.
